Leo the Border Collie helps Brett Landscaping win award at the 2017 CMA's

Brett Landscaping was delighted to be ‘Highly Commended’ in the Best Big Budget Campaign category at the 2017 Construction Marketing Awards (CMA's) for their ‘Changing Perceptions with Leo’ campaign.

The annual awards, now in their 18th year, celebrate the construction industry’s creativity, innovation and effectiveness in marketing. For Brett Landscaping the award acknowledges the 2017 marketing emphasis placed on building brand reputation with customers and driving sales into merchant yards. Once there, the fantastic range of high quality point of sale material provided by Brett Landscaping – including their highly rated Gardens & Drives brochure - helps showcase their products and drive increased sales through the branches.

The 2017 brand awareness campaign, in conjunction with Ridgemount PR, aimed to change the perception of Brett Landscaping from simply being another choice of manufacturer to the preferred choice for contractors, housebuilders and homeowners.

Brett Landscaping is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of high quality paving products in both the domestic and commercial sectors. Unlike larger rivals, Brett Landscaping is well-known for being an approachable and friendly organisation and so is its Border Collie mascot Leo the Dog.

The now famous Leo the Dog made his first appearance at the start of 2017 and has come to encapsulate the brand personality and characteristics of Brett Landscaping. Leo was used across all the aspects of the business, reaching domestic, commercial and merchant audiences in a range of mediums including print, digital, social media and blogs.

A highlight has been Leo’s Tip of the Week which continues to run on Facebook every Friday. The posts featuring Leo continue to gain higher engagement and impressions than posts without Leo, proving its success in positioning Brett Landscaping as a highly approachable business.
